Bonus Eventus was one of the twelve deities of the Roman Republic. He presided over agriculture and was the personification of a “Good Outcome”, perhaps for a good harvest.
The reverse of the coin is visible inside the mounting. It depicts the ancient wellhead Puteal Scribonianum (PVTEAL SCRIBON) ornamented with a garland between two lyres and a hammer. The Puteal Scribonianum was featured on coins minted in 62 BC because it was the year it was repaired.

Obverse: Diademed head of Bonus Eventus in profile. Reverse: Puteal Scribonianum (PVTEAL SCRIBON). Denarius. Rome mint. 62 BC. 14kt yellow and white gold. Ring designed by Mardy Rice.
